- Install a theme of your choice
- Install a standard set of plugins (akismet comment spam protection, contact form 7, google analytics, Add-this social bookmarking)
- Set up contact form for your email
If you’re interested in this package, drop me an email and let me know which hosting company you’re using and which theme you’d like to use (please don‘t put any usernames or passwords in your email!). If you don’t already have hosting I recommend getting an account with Bluehost. For top-quality premium themes I recommend Theme forest.
Theme customization: $50 / £35 / €40 per hour
Is your theme not quite behaving as you’d like? Does it need a little bit of tweaking to get it set up just perfectly? Drop me an email and I’ll take a look. Be sure to include the URL of the pages in your email so I can see what needs to be changed!
Plugin development: $50 / £35 / €40 per hour
Do you want a special feature for your blog that would be best accomplished with a plugin? Features that involve integration with an external website or data source usually fall into this category, as do modifications that change the behaviour (rather than the look) of the blog. I can modify an existing plugin or write a new one from scratch – drop me an email explaining what you want and I’ll take a look.
Batch automation: $50 / £35 / €40 per hour
I can help automate large collections of tasks that would be far too time-consuming to do manually. Examples include:
- Creating large numbers of categories and sub-categories
- Changing tags/categories on large numbers of posts
- Uploading large numbers of images or other media files
- Creating large numbers of posts using an existing data source
